Photos included in a message are opening with only a sliver of the photo visible. The rest of the photo is a grey box. When I save them, or try to open them in Picasa, they are still damaged. If I check my mail on my Android phone, or my Ipad, the photos load just fine, so it is not the photo itself, but rather how Thunderbird is managing them. I have looked for help on this, and found a forum where someone had the exact same problem with Thunderbird, but that was two years ago, with the 16.1 version. I have tried reloading the current (24) version, and even tried downloading the 17.1 version. No success. Any suggestions?
