Short cut favourites bar..... needs a little search box, gamers like me and heavy web users would find it tons easier to have a liny hour glass icon and search

basically, Firefox is missing a very simple feature that would exceed other internet browsers , favorites bar search box, maybe a tiny icon like a search glass to allow heavy web users to access there favorite web page saves, I tend to accumulate a lot from forums and tutorials. also I am a heavy gamer and love modding, be awesome if you guys added this feature, it's clear as day its something needed.

Some more info about the sidebar:

  • You can toggle the Bookmarks sidebar via View > Sidebar > Bookmarks (Ctrl+B)
  • You can toggle the History sidebar via View > Sidebar > History (Ctrl+H)

You can find toolbar buttons to open the bookmarks (star) and the history (clock) in the sidebar in the toolbar palette and drag them on a toolbar.

  • Firefox menu button > Options > Toolbar Layout
  • View > Toolbars > Customize

There are two bookmark buttons with a star in the Customize window.
One star button has a drop marker that open a Bookmark menu (you may not see the drop marker in the Customize window).
The other star button without the drop marker opens the bookmarks in the sidebar.
