How do I change the banner design at the top by the toolbars?
I have autumn leaves up there now, but I cannot remember how I set that up! I thought it was Yahoo Themes, but that didn't change it, it just changed the Yahoo portion of the page. thank you for your help with this!

You need to do that in the Windows Control Panel.
- Control Panel > Display: Appearance > Advanced

Probably a "lightweight theme"?
Try the Appearance section of the Add-ons page if you want to switch back to the basic appearance. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Appearance.

I think you are talking about Personas:
To disable or change go to Tools >> Addons >> Appearance
There you can disable or change between the Themes installed

Lightweight theme is the same as a Persona and is used to style the user interface part of Firefox with a background.
The Add-ons website currently name them themes as opposed to complete themes that make other changes as well.

hi, Jscher! do you know how to change the color of the bar at the very top (where it has minimize and maximize and teh X) and the very bottom of the screen (the Start line) and the scroll bars? I can't remember how I did it before! thank you for your help, jocelyn

that totally worked! cor-el, you are my hero, in fact, your name even sounds like superman's name! I did it before, but I didn't even know what I did way back when.
You might know this: I used to be able to edit pictures that I saved in My Pictures, but then all of a sudden, it said I couldn't because there was no file association and that I should change my folder options, but I never could figure out how to do it. Do you know how to fix that? thank you for your help! Joss

You can possibly do this here in Windows XP:
- Control Panel (or Windows Explorer: Tools) > Folder Options > File Types
thanks cor-el! I found the place, but then what do I do? I added JPEG Image in Advanced, but it didn't fix it. Do you know how to add an association?
The easiest way to create an association is to right-click an .jpg (.jpeg?) file in Windows Explorer and use the "Open with" entry to choose and set the default application for this file extension.
