Hi Freddiy,

I guess you are also in the uk as I note mention of BT software. From the System details aside you appear to be using the old Firefox 20 on Windows.

Are you able to confirm what the Operating System is Please ?

It would help if you say what you are trying to do. For instance looking at a particular public video or news site ?

Please give some basic information about the computer. Do you know

  • The size of Memory (RAM)
  • The size of Hard Disk Drive
  • The type and speed of CPU
  • Approximate age of the computer.

Note

How does your system compare to the above ?

What type of problems are you having with Firefox can you please give a bit more detail ?

There are times when a new program, or a program being updated, has to make changes that change how the programs work. One example is, how many times has Windows done an update, and you had to reboot the computer after? Sometimes, the changes can be made without shutting down, but there are times when the programs in question, or the computer, needs to be shut down so that the new stuff will take hold.

Which Windows version are you using?

Is the current Flash Player compatible with your Operating System?

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in compatibility mode.
You can open the Properties of the Firefox desktop shortcut via the right-click context menu and check the "Compatibility" tab.
Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
