Specifications: -Mac OS X 10.8.2 -Firefox 19.0.2

I have just moved back to Firefox from Chrome and encountered rather a weird problem which I have never encountered when I used Firefox last time. The add-ons which I have just installed do not appear in extensions manager. I'm pretty sure that the add-ons are not corrupted as it is working fine, the only problem is it does not appear in the extensions manager. As far as I know, nothing is wrong with my system. Just that, I don't have Java at all. Not even Java 6. Completely removed Java from my Mac.

What I have tried: i) Reinstalled Firefox. Did it 3 times ii) Delete the extensions file from /Library/Application Support/Firefox iii) Installed another add-ons from the official Firefox add-ons websites. Did this to see if after installing another add-on maybe it will reloaded and appear.

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.

Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to check if there is a compatibility update available.

If this hasn't helped then also try to delete the addons.sqlite file.

1) Delete the files extensions was done even before posting this. 2) Extensions are not corrupted, as they work normally. The only issue is they not appearing on the add-ons manager.
