When using the go back button the page displayed is at the same time it was when I left the page and not the current time for the page. I would like the page to be the current time for that page.

You can try setting a hidden preference using about:config

Steps:

  1. type about:config in the URL/Location bar and press the Enter key
  2. if you see a warning, accept it (promise to be careful)
  3. enter in the Search box - browser.cache.check_doc_frequency
  4. in the lower panel, right-click on that pref and choose "Modify"
  5. enter in the modify - 1 (that's the numeral one)
  6. click OK and close the about:config tab
    • Note - you may (or may not) need to exit and restart Firefox for the change to take effect.
