I don't know what happened, all that happened was I was away from my keyboard at the time. I left firefox on and randomly popped up, I could not close firefox! I then had to shut the process and every time last night and this morning, he/it/she was there! I resorted to using an alternate browser but it is now fixed. I would like to know how and why this happened! EDIT : He was using his Webcam although my webcam was deactivated to fix a problem, I think he was trying to hack that too!

This probably does not help although I was gaming around the time of this, the game was Garry's Mod, Borderlands 2 and Minecraft.

Hi EthanShanks

try with a few malware/virus scan programs. You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. Make sure to update each program to get the latest version before doing a scan.

check also for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Yes I understand so although I have Windows Protection and AVG 2013 Protection and I've never came across such a thing!

You can also try to delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

You can also try to clear saved data in Firefox.

Yes, this was helpful but I would also like to know what caused it and how/why they did it!
