deleted bookmarks not syncing
I have deleted a number of old bookmarks on my main machine but these changes are not migrating across to my other desktop or laptops.
I thought when sync was set up this would happen automatically is there a setting I have overlooked?

The Windows versions wouldn't matter. Ideally in this case the Sync Options would be Recommended:... on Windows XP, and Replace all data on this computer with my Sync data on the other PCs, though it would be better if you would carefully consider the options and customize it appropriately.

Hi,
You can try to check the Sync progress by entering about:sync-progress in the location bar.
You can also try to check the currently selected Sync Options on the devices.

Thanks for the suggestions but it is still unresolved.
about:sync-progress shows a 'setup complete' banner along with text saying data is being encrypted and u/l in the background.
Would the fact the machine I deleted bookmarks on is XP and the others are Windows7 have any bearing on it?

Ok I think this is now sorted.
I had deleted some bookmarks manually and some using a utility program 'AM-Deadlink' although this makes changes to the places.sqlite file on the local machine the changes it makes don't seem to sync across.
Checking the ones I deleted manually they are also deleted on the other machines the ones that remained were all handled by the utility. Odd that, maybe FF makes changes to other files in addition to the places.sqlite and AM-deadlink doesn't.
Is the only thing I can suggest as to why it happens.
