more options

Firefox 13 is not showig the embed PDFs in a Webpage until I change the tab or I open the PDF containing page in new tab or new page.

Most its happening after first time opening.

Try fully uninstalling Adobe Reader, then installing the latest version. I had to do this a few months ago and it seemed to resolve the issues I was having.

I reinstalled it. Nothing changed.

It doesn't work with embed PDFs: http://acroeng.adobe.com/Test_Files/embedded/embedded_weblink.html

It works with direct Links to PDF: http://acroeng.adobe.com/Test_Files/embedded/Weblink%20Test%20Vegas.pdf

Does Firefox open the PDF file in a tab with a direct link?

Do you see the Adobe Reader on the about:plugins page?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I have no problem viewing either of your links in Firefox (14). Maybe you need to try SHIFT+F5 to force a refresh?

I recognize that your webpage uses an EMBED element and not an IFRAME, but it may very well be similar to the issue of how Firefox handles documents embedded via IFRAME:

Firefox is a real bugger when it comes to refreshing documents embedded via IFRAME; the typical SHIFT+F5 does not work and you have to do something more drastic like changing the IFRAME's URL by adding some random garbage arguement to the URL each time you make changes, or right-click the IFRAME, click "This Frame", then click "Reload Frame" or click "Show this frame only" and then refresh, then hit the "back" button.
