All of a sudden I cannot see pictures, all that is visible is the thin blue box where the pic should be.

It just suddenly started. I followed the instructions where it says to go to options & make sure the load pic automatically is checked and then the shift and reload page and that helped for a day. Then the next day when I logged on it was doing the same thing and this fix willnot work.

I can see images on sites such as google and yahoo. But not on sites such as facebook. I haven't changed anything on my computer , haven't recently added any plug-ins etc...

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:

  • Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
  • Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
  • Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
  • If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
