what are the defalt font settings for 7.0
I am just looking for what the default, including advanced, font settings should be for 7.0.1. I tweaked things and I have strayed too far from the default and I would like to start over. There is no set to default button. At this point web pages are ok but text is blotchy. Dark in some places. light in others.

this seems to be much better than what I had, thanks. One more question for you if you don't mind. What prompted me to start farting around with the font settings to start with is an odd issue. Everywhere there are 2 small l's or maybe a small l and an f(2 straight lines nest to each other0, I get a red spot on the screen where the letters are. Now that I applied your settings, the whole blotchy, washed out thing is gone and I'm back to this original annoying small red thing. Any idea what can be causing this? I am using a less than 1 year old 19" LCD HD TV for monitor. It was in the house and not being used so I replaced my 17' HP LCD with it. I'm hooked up with vga plug and 1360 by 768(close) resolution. New HP laptop with ATI video chipset. All other video is awesome, just this stupid font thing. I turned the gamma correction all the way down to .5. Can't think of what else to do.

I'm really sorry but I have no idea. I'm sure someone who knows this will be able to help you. It would also be useful if you could post a screenshot.

Check and tell if its working.

Try to disable "Morphological Filtering" in the Catalyst display driver:
- Catalyst Control Center > 3D Settings > Disable Morphological Filtering
thanks, this seems to have reduced it it quite alot. A setting I would have never thought of.
You're welcome
