How do I organize pictures I "save as" from websites? I'm never given any options of where to put them, so they end up in "recently downloaded" section.

I just downloaded Firefox for 1st time, not sure how to use everything yet. I still have IE, just for pics/favorites.

My problem:

I don't know how to "save as" pictures I download on my laptop using Firefox without it having to go to "recently downloaded" documents. I want to organize them & easily find them in folders, just like on IE. How do I do that?

You can set Firefox to always ask you where to save downloads.

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Options > General tab

In the Downloads section of the dialog, the last option, "Always ask me where to save files"

Does it work?
