I use the "view source" feature all the time, but now it's gone! Is it gone for good? Can I find it somewhere else on Firefox?

It is grouped together in the Web Developer menu with other "developer" tools - in Tools on Windows, and IIRC that would be Preferences on a Mac. There's also a right-click menu item for View Page Source.
