When updating to Firefox 5.0, most all of my over 100 bookmarks disappeared, not to be seen again. Where could they have gone? I am about readly to join the ranks of used-to-be Firefox users.
Without the benefit of a choice, I was "upgraded" to Firefox 5.0. Now, 95% or more of my over 100 bookmarks are gone, not to be found. Any ideas?

Try restoring a bookmark backup file, See this:

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
