When I download a file the information does not stay in the dialog box with the options to run, open container. and the Clear list is also not active. All I get is a blank download box.

Tools > Options > Privacy > History: "Remember download history"

To see all the History and Cookie options, select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
