Using Firefox 3.6.10 with Ubuntu. Maximize, minimize, and close buttons seem to have disappeared. Went to View and Navagation is checked. Also went to customize to reset to original. Neither have worked. Buttons are still not there.

Toggle full screen mode with the F11 key a few times to see if that brings the title bar back.

Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window.

If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.

This worked for me using Natty & Firefox 7

1. Open Terminal 2. Type "metacity --replace"

Easy.

Thanks much. Had uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox to no avail. One tap on f11 brought it back instantly.
