Occassionally it works.

Today is another 'no go' day cannot trans or recieve. Hotmail online works but not Thunderbird.

What is going on at Mozilla ?

Starting today, I am constantly prompted to enter a password for my Hotmail accounts on Thunderbird. Both on Ubuntu and Windows. Entering my normal or generated app password does not seem to work. I have no success yet and instead am now using Outlook Online. Wondering if a Thunderbird update caused this.

It wasn't for me. But even after changing the settings to look just like that, I keep getting the same error. Whenever I open Thunderbird, I get this prompt "Login to server outlook.office365.com with username ***@live.nl failed."

Remove the entries from Saved Passwords in Settings, restart TB, enter the account password in the OAuth window.
