Just 'upgraded' to v115. What a horrid layout, larger curvy fonts, more space taken on desktop, so smaller views of actual emails. Whole presentation is a mess. The important thing here is the emails, not the frame they sit in. This latest update has moved menu bars around, lost distinction of tabs, and is presenting an alien picture.

Trying to revert back to 102, I get a message that this will dispose of my profile, and I'll have to create it all again. What fool thought that was a good idea?

Now, I need a process to revert to 102, to regain the cleaner layout, with my profile intact.

Making it 'pretty' is not an improvement.

This step supposedly (but not guaranteed) reverts back: - exit thunderbird - click windows key and 'r' key and enter

 thunderbird.exe -P --allow-downgrade
 and then click OK.

But I encourage you to not do this, as 115 will be the version going forward.
