I have a problem where after restoring session in FF it makes me unable to drag and move tabs around at all. I tried to start FF in safe mode to see if it was one of the extensions causing it, but that didn't stop it. I noticed that the last time this happened not that long ago it sorted itself out after a while and i regained the ability to move tabs around again, although i still don't know how/why it got sorted out the first time. So i hope someone here could maybe help me a bit.

I am using windows 7 (with the latest update i believe) and updated FF to the latest available version.

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with dragging and moving tabs in Firefox. Let's try to troubleshoot the issue together.

First, let's ensure that no extensions or add-ons are causing conflicts. Since you mentioned that starting Firefox in safe mode didn't resolve the problem, we can move on to other troubleshooting steps.

Clear the cache: Go to the Firefox menu, click on "Options" (or "Preferences" on macOS), select the "Privacy & Security" tab, scroll down to the "Cookies and Site Data" section, and click on the "Clear Data" button. Make sure to select both "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content" options, and then click on "Clear."

Refresh Firefox: Open a new tab and type "about:support" (without quotes) in the address bar, then press Enter. On the Troubleshooting Information page, click on the "Refresh Firefox" button. This will reset Firefox to its default state while keeping your essential information such as bookmarks and passwords.

Create a new Firefox profile: Sometimes, issues can be related to a corrupted profile. You can create a new profile to see if the problem persists. Type "about:profiles" (without quotes) in a new tab and press Enter. From there, click on the "Create a New Profile" button and follow the prompts to set up a new profile. Test if the issue persists in the new profile.

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, please let me know, and we can explore further options.

Hello,

So, just like before the issue kinda sorted itself out after like 2 days of being there. I am still very thankful for the reply, and will try these steps when the issue eventually appears again.

I very much appreciate the help tho.
