have my e-mail on a pc & my laptop?
I've had my e-mail set-up on our pc for many years. I also now a laptop and was hoping I could access my e-mail from both, like not have them open at the same time but if I'm in the kitchen on the laptop or in the spare room when on the pc. I installed Thunderbird on the laptop, but I get this message: Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, user name or password.
Is is not possible to have it set up on 2 computers? If it is, can someone help please? I apologize, I'm older and pretty technology challenged :(. So if they could put instructions in an e-mail it would be greatly appreciated!! Not a big emergency.
Many thanks & have a great day!! Sandy Schnabel

Probably the antivirus/ firewall software you are using blocking Thunderbird from the internet.
Having multiple profiles on multiple devices with the same IMAP accounts is certainly a thing, just as having those accounts on a phone works.
