I use Mozilla Thunderbird for my email. I keep getting a request (once every day) to update Thunderbird which is out of date. Since my Thunderbird copy is up to date, I have to question rather or not this is a scam. I refuse the update, but it again repeats every day. As a test, I reinstalled Thunderbird a couple of times and the update request goes away for a few days, then this questionable update request returns to my system. Can someone verify rather or not this is a scam? Also, how can I stop this phony update every day?
