I don't know if these first details are important, but I was setting up a filter to block a sender. The Trash file was in the background. After setting it up, I clicked run now. It ran and every email in my trash file was gone. I am trying to recover these files. I'm on a desktop Win10. I removed the filter and it didn't help. I went off-line, right-clicked on the trash file and clicked on properties and then clicked on repair file. It ran for a while and then two old emails appeared in the trash file of the 38000+ that were in there. Tried it again, nothing. I have NOT run compress files. Is there anyway that anyone knows that I can recover these emails? Thanks.

Just to add... PLEASE if you do know the answer, please take the time to help me out. I have some life photos on some of those emails that I didn't save anywhere else. Yes, my bad. Please and thanks.

Your best bet may be to stop immediately using the PC and take it to someone who can extract deleted files from a PC.
