How To Protect Mozilla Firefox Browser With Password /NOT PRIMARY PASSWORD/

more options

Hi, I know about Primary password and already have it enabled , by my concern is that if I did not enter this primary password at startup I still will be able to login to my gmail account if I did not signed out from it at the previous session. So is it possible to have some additional protection so the firefox did not load my profile before I insert my password?

Only those with access to your computer user account can get to your Firefox profile. If others are using your computer, set them up with their own user accounts. Firefox will create separate profiles for each account.

Other than the Master Password for the login/pasword files, there is no such security.

When you visit a site and choose to stay signed in (or the site wants you to stay signed in for its own reasons), the site sets a persistent cookie that expires far in the future and is retained even when you shut down and restart Firefox. There is no built-in way to limit access to reading and/or using those saved cookies. If you set Firefox to clear your cookies when you close it, then you would need to log in again on your first visit in the new session. I assume you are trying to avoid that, or you would have just logged out of your Google account yourself.
