What is the value of using Firefox as a browser when it still uses google as its search engine. I want to get away form google as much as possible because they skew their search results. I was hoping Firefox would do that.

Firefox can use any search engine that you want as the default.

Type about:preferences#search<enter> in the address bar. You can select any search engine to be your default from here.

You can also remove any engine from here.
