Local Folder missing

After having to reinstall Windows 10, I reinstalled TB. I ran it once and then closed it. Then I went to the old profiles folder, copied all items and pasted all into the current profile. I restarted TB and it appears that all other email accounts are ok. but an important local folder is missing. If I search for an email that I know was in it in the global search, that email is found. Unfortunately, it shows as not being associated with any account; it shows "none". The little snippet of text seems right but the full email cannot be opened.

Even though it was just two days ago that my computer had locked up, I am wondering if somehow I had been using an older version of TB than I downloaded today. The reason I say that is that in the old profile there were no local folders showing in the mail subfolder only three folders for my three mail accounts. Yet I had this important local folder as part of my thunderbird data.

I am hoping that somehow I can make this missing folder usable again.

No longer needing assitance. I have solved this. It seems that I had that local folder open when my computer crashed and the folder in mail for that local folder was completely lost. Mcafee had given virus notice just before computer failure so it may have been virus. Fortunately the Thunderbird profile was on my Carbonite backup and once I pasted that local mail folder back into my profile, I got my data back. A key fact that helped to know what was wrong was other posts that indicated that a search may turn up results for lost items, but that doesn't mean they are still present, only that they are still in the global search database.
