Hello!

Customizing controls may not be exactly what I’m thinking about. But it shall be closer to it then «Others».

I look out to usability.

What is my benefit using tabs? None! A tab makes sense when it’s pinned to that folder whi was opened in. But now, I got a mail, being in 4th tab, moving upwards to account with tat man and, ooops, being in a folder already open in tab number 2. To get back to folder opened in tab 4 I have to navigate back therein. This makes tabs useless since I do not geht a function like bookmarks. Maybe a tab shall be able to be fixed manually, not allowing to leave a folder to an other one in same level (!). As best, a folder in a new tab is standardly fixed not to be changed.

Switching between spellcheck - where to get a button to switch instantly a language? It’s really not uncommon in world outside USA to communicate in english and local language in a company. (And, maybe, more than these two languages!). Usability is fast change of options.

At last - observe yourself. Which option in menus do you really need and use daily? Be strict. I’m sure you’ll be surprised. Delete a mail? How many centimeters in context menu? I do not save it, buy may answer it in most cases.

If you don't want tabs, it's possible to have messages open in windows or the Message Pane (F8).

If the Status Bar is shown in the Write window, the dictionary toggle is at the right end of the bar.

A Delete button can be placed on the Mail Toolbar, and there is one on the Header Pane.

Is that meant serious? Did you indeed read what I wrote?

«If you don't want tabs, it's possible to have messages open in windows or the Message Pane (F8).» I'm taking abut tabs holding account’s folders - not single mails. And I hope to get this tabs fixed not to leave current folder. Otherwise a tab is useless as an instrument of organisation.

«If the Status Bar is shown in the Write window, the dictionary toggle is at the right end of the bar.» I asked for an _immediate_ change of languages, not moving mouse far off, klicking, moving & seeking to choice. That’s I can get by a right click at same position, too.

«A Delete button can be placed on the Mail Toolbar, and there is one on the Header Pane.» Show me where in which pane.

0.5 of 3 solved. Dose not help really.

An account, message or folder can be opened in a window, from the context menu.

View/Toolbars/Customize... to add or remove buttons to the Mail Toolbar.

The dictionary toggle is also on the Composition Toolbar, on the Spelling button, or in Languages in the message body context menu. That makes three ways to change it.
