In Thunderbird there's a apparent search box at the right of the menu bar (see pix in attached imgur link). Not sure if the search box is native to Thunderbird or if it's related to an add-on. In any case, it doesn't appear to do anything - except clicking on the text box and trying to enter text by hitting random keys - messages started disappearing from the inbox. I have no idea where they've gone - they're not in the trash or junk folders.

If I do a search for a term that I know is in one of the missing messages (in order to locate where the message have gone), I get results showing the missing messages but when I click on the missing message, the message open up blank.

Scratching my head.

Vanquished in Vancouver.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

That search box doesn't appear in standard TB, so I suspect it's due to an add-on (Help/Restart with add-ons disabled to see if the display is different). Note that pressing the A key will move messages to the Archives folder.

That was it - they were in the archive folder. Weird that search finds the messages but won't display them if their in the archive. In any case. Thank you very much.
