Thunderbird - Adressbucheinträge
After a Thunderbird-update in Suse-Leap) all the Adresses had disappeared. (The automatically collected mail-connections als well as the ´by hand-added-ones´) I still do have a "healthy-version" of the Thunderbird before on my Notebook; but I cannot find the place, where the Adress-Datas are stored (and I dont know the name and type of the adress-data-files.) How do I have to act to fix the problem? Angelika (I´m german; my electronic- or edv-english is rahter poor...)

You can export the good address book(s) on the Notebook computer, and import them on the troubled computer.
Start Thunderbird on the Notebook computer, and open the Address Book.
Select the address book to be exported in the left pane. Then
Tools - Export
Save the exported address book as LDIF file.
Import the LDIF file on the troubled computer into the desired address book.
