Thunderbird always needs a mail server to send and receive email. There is no magic way to do that without a mail server.

Then I suppose you also do have a mail server. If in doubt, contact your hosting provider for help.

Thunderbird always needs a mail server to send and receive email. There is no magic way to do that without a mail server.
