Hello, I created a Firefox account yesterday, but decided today that I would not need it. So, I logged into my account, clicked on 'Edit my profile', scrolled down to the bottom of the page where it is written (in red) 'Close account and delete all profile information'. I clicked on it to open a dialog box entitled: "Are you sure?". I entered my user name to confirm, and then clicked on "Delete my Account" (red thumbnail). Guess what: nothing happens when I click on "Delete my account"! (The dialog box remains there, as if I haven't yet clicked on "Delete my account") Your assistance will be much appreciated! Thanks.

Thank you for your reply. I had already looked at the above article before seeking help here. It looks like the procedure described in this article is out of date, because it no longer corresponds to the user interface in my FF account profile. That said, I did follow similar steps in "Edit my Profile" - as I explained in my previous message.

n.b.: Just in case my issue would have something to do with the settings of my FF browser, I created a new FF profile (with default settings) and used it to login again to my Firefox account. I followed the same steps again... and got the exact same results!

I'm sorry, but I don't see this form that you are talking about. All I can see is the entry (in red characters) at the bottom of the page "Edit my Profile" (see screenshot_1). When I click on this entry ("Close account and delete all profile information"), a dialog box comes up (see screenshot_2). This is where I get stuck, because nothing happens when I click on "Delete my Account" in the dialog box! (??)
