So I just updated to version 70 of Firefox, and a new icon that is listed as 'what's new' when I scroll the mouse over it has cropped up. How do I remove this? I tried to go into the customize option to remove it, but nothing seems to work in letting me do that. Is there a way to deal with this thing or what?

If you click this icon on the Navigation Toolbar to check it out then it should hide and no longer be present. There is still this item in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list.

We have removed the icon several times. We have Switched the parameter browser.messaging-system.whatsNewPanel.enabled to False by double-clicking on it and then restarted firefox. The icon disappears briefly, then comes back. This is very frustrating as we are not interested in this icon or this information. Please fix this or let us know how to permanently remove this from the Firefox browser.

thank you.
