So I now have a Firefox account. WHERE do I report Firefox BUGS (IN 67.0.4)?
The browser is consuming ALL AVAILABLE MEMORY even when I only visit about:blank ...

Hi Bill Mayhew, This should help: Bug report writing guidelines
Manually updated to 68 a week or so ago (as I usually do within a few weeks of a new release). There are 6 active Firefox processes totaling 600+MB... with only ONE window. (Win7) WHY??? (Competing with regular weekly AV scan, which starts late Sat. night and usually finishes before 9am, and has never taken THIS much "horsepower")
firefox is a multi-process application that is putting various tasks into separate processes for stability, security and performance gains: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Electrolysis#Overview so seeing multiple processes of firefox in the windows task manager is normal and expected.
You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
You can also check the Firefox Task Manager (about:performance) page.
