Error 246000. Can't receive streaming video, even though DRM is enabled
If I try to receive streaming video from the Australian Broadcasting Commission's "Iview" service, I get the following message: "Sorry, there is a technical error with this video stream. Error Code 246000."
DRM is enabled. I have disabled DRM, restarted the computer, re-enabled DRM and restarted the computer again, but that didn't solve the problem. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it, that didn't help. Firefox version is 66.0.3, 32 bit. Operating system is Windows 10 Pro, 32 bit. Computer has an Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 processor, running at 2.93 GHz, 2 GB RAM. There is a direct cable connection to the modem. If I switch browsers to Microsoft Edge (on the same computer), the problem is solved. I also have two notebook computers, one running Windows 7 and the other Windows 10, both running off the same router as the culprit machine but via wifi, and they also receive the Iview service correctly. I don't want to have to fall back on Microsoft Edge. It seems to me there is one setting somewhere in the culprit machine that is wrong. Can anyone suggest what it is?
