Windows 7 Pro new installation; Windows 7 Home Premium old Thunderbird

I'm now dual booting between these two. Thunderbird works just fine in 7 Home Premium with my user name and password accepted by Yahoo and Vivaldi. Installed a saved copy of Thunderbird on 7 Pro, and it could not access my webmail accounts. Downloaded a fresh copy of T'Bird and installed on 7 Pro. It will not set up my account on either Yahoo or Vivaldi.net either; I get user name or password incorrect. So I went to each one and logged in using the same information and password that I had given Thunderbird. Got in with no trouble. The other copy of Thunderbird gets in with no trouble.

I've tried typing the password directly from a saved password list after cross checking it in Home Premium; I've tried copying and pasting from the saved password document into Yahoo and it worked. I then copied and pasted into a Thunderbird set up account window, and it didn't work.
