I'm migrating from Windows to Linux Mint 19, and my profile (created with Thunderbird for Windows) is located on a mounted NTFS partition . I've tried modifying the profiles.ini file to point to the mount name, the device name, and the mount location, as shown below:

Drive_F/Thunderbird Profiles/profilefolder.default

/dev/sdb3/Thunderbird Profiles/profilefolder.default

/mnt/6EDA317FDA31449D/Thunderbird Profiles/profilefolder.default

I also set IsRelative to 0.

Every time I start Thunderbird, I get the following error message:

"Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible."

To make sure it wasn't a write permissions problem, I created a new text file in the profiles folder I'm trying to use.

As you might guess, I'm pretty new to Linux, and I'm out of ideas. Google was not forthcoming with a solution.
