I am unable to log on to the home router/modem from Firefox even though I have cleared the cookies and site data and restarted the Firefox. I have no problem to log on using the Google Chrome though.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

The screenshot shows a possible problem with a translation of menu items that the website fails to display. That might be because it is confused by your locale setting (en-AU?).

What are the installed languages in case that is the problem?

What locale are you using?

I see various locales present in "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" data.

osPrefs: regionalPrefsLocales:["en-AU"];
systemLocales:["en-GB"];
localeService: available:["ja","en-US"];
requested:["en-GB","en-US"]; regionalPrefs:["en-AU"];
supported:["en-US"];
defaultLocale:"en-US";

This might be about the 'ja' in the locale service as shown on the on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page.

There are other things that need attention.

The System Details list shows that you have an outdated Flash plugin, current is 31.0.0.108 (31.0 r0).

  • Shockwave Flash 27.0 r0

You can find the installation path of a plugin on the about:plugins page.

You can download the latest NPAPI Flash plugin for Firefox via this page.

Thanks!

Where is the locale I can change.

I do use Japanese as another language interface sometimes but I don't mean to change the locale.

Where or how I find it to change? I do wonder how the locale matters.

I live in Australia. I only use the Japanese language sometimes. What should I change to then?

I've updated the shockwave flash but the problem remains.

Thanks!

I checked and there was no language set though the interface had been all presented in English. I had removed the Japanese language previsously and somehow I didn't reset it back to English. Somehow it has all been working alright in all regards.

It is working now since I add the language back.

Thanks for your help!
