Tab close with middle mouse button is unreliable in desktop Firefox 62.0
Hello! I noticed that desktop Firefox 62.0 (some previous releases same) does not close the tab by first time middle mouse click. Is often work with second click. This is very noticeable when you use alternately google chrome. Unexpected behavior is quite annoying: You quickly brought the mouse to close opened tab, the click did not worked and you have to be distracted again, on a seemingly elementary operation like closing browser tab..
Best Regards, Donald

No one decided that a 3 button system was perfect. Update your drivers.
No, It work perfect on chrome in same OS. I found trouble: When You stop and freeze mouse cursor and click, all ok.. But in real life you need faster close one or couple of tabs and some little cursor motion prevents its. The main problem is that the cursor rests on the top of the screen continues to move laterally. For test try on desktop to close 5+ tabs in a row quickly with mouse middle button. And You cant do that in some cases, because you need to be a jeweler or a sniper in the work with the mouse!
Hi, please try a Refresh but Note that this does more than uninstalling and re-installing does. Normal uninstalling does not remove some preferences which may have become corrupt. Please Refresh but do this 1st:
