I can't import gmail address book .csv. Data and value types are almost completely incompatible. And what the hell does Yomi mean?

The Gmail field values don't come close to matching up to data values. There is no primary email field at times (I've tried several techniques) I don't know what I could have done to lose a primary email field. Other fields just don't have compatible values, it's a huge mess where fields don't come close to matching data. I've moved them, eliminated some, tried (as one article suggested) using an Outlook.csv. Help me please while I have a few hairs left! ~ Thanks

Export from Google Contacts to a vCard (vcf) file, then in TB, Tools/Import... Address Books... vCard file (vcf)... select the vcf file.
