My 4k-display laptop runs Mozilla but it's generally very laggy, especially scrolling.
Hi,
I have a 4k-display laptop and while Microsoft Edge runs smoothly, any other browsers (I usually prefer Firefox but have tried Chrome, Opera, Vivaldi) are slow, laggy and stuttery. Firefox is generally slow, especially scrolling. I'm sure it's not my internet connection as I am wired (use an ethernet cable) and all other software that uses internet runs smooth. I tried changing my resolution to 1920x1080 and that seems to fix the problem, but I don't wanna be running my system on a smaller resolution just so I could have a better browsing experience. I tried various fixes including turning off hardware acceleration, messing with settings in about:config (WebGL) and refreshing Firefox but none of those worked.
No idea why this is happening, but any help is highly appreciated!

Did you try to change the hardware acceleration settings in the Browser settings.

I did, yes, as said in the issues' description. Had no effect on the performance what so ever :/.
