I've tried all the tips and nothing helps, I'm contstantly getting pages hanging and the message" a webpage is buggering up, do you want to stop it or wait". What can I do? I am not sure this is a Firefox issue as the reason I first came to you is Chrome and Edge also do it so I guess it's windows 10. None of them have been any help hence trying you.

As the issue does not seem to be specific to Firefox all right, try resetting your Windows 10 connection settings as described here or here.

Also make sure to have not set a proxy in Windows system configuration settings for the Internet connection. This could be used by other software by default, such as Firefox. I’m not sure how other browsers cope with that, but it’s often overlooked.

”Webpage is slowing down your browser” This is the new way the browser tells you there is a problem with the script program(s). https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/warning-unresponsive-script?cache=no

The setting is already at 20 and the java script makes no difference.
