You are using free software. There is no office to have a telephone and no technicians. This forum, staffed by other Thunderbird users who volunteer their time, is Thunderbird support. There are companies with phones numbers claiming to be Thunderbird support but they just want to take your money. I followed your suggestion but it said that the version was not compatible for my platform. So I tried the second site & that one said that it was a corrupted site. So, here I sit.

It has been working for people all day. Make sure you scroll down the the button labeled GET IT HERE. I just downloaded the file and it came down just fine. I am not going to install it since I have no need for it.
