How quickly switch encoding (UTF-8/Windows-1250/ISO-8856-2) for message seen in main window?
Incoming e-maill encoding depends on author platform/program tool preferences. Therefore I often have to switch between diferent encoding - e.g.: UTF-8, Windowes-1250 , ISO-8859-2.
How to create a button or other quick access method (maybe a short-key) to choosen - often used encoding types? Should be in main window as well as in view window...
Does anybody met the problem? Any solutions?

I have forgotten: Thunderbird 52.7.0 (32 bity) on W-7x64 platform.
But an email client is supposed to detect and honour the encoding declared in the message. You shouldn't need to change it manually.
Is this a common problem for you? Or just with particular correspondents?
No effects of automatic detection noticed. Problem common, NON-corespondent dependent - as far as I can recognise using it for years. Even can't remember when it started to happen.
I think that e-mails with the same encoding as set up in Display Options are properly displayed. Other encoding formats ignored and forcefully displayed with the set up encoding.
I have set up encoding in (my original menu translation to eng.): Menu/Tools/Options/Display Options/ ->Formating (tab) -> Fonts and Colours (section) -> Advanced (button) -> Text Encoding (section) where are two drop-down lists for : - outgoing e-mails : Unicode (UTF-8) - incoming e-mails: Unicode (UTF-8) {at the moment}
The last one option (incoming e-mail) was tested also with CentralEuropen encoding standards: Windows -1250 and ISO-8859-2 with similar effect but in favour of choosen encoding.
No option/switch for automation of the encoding detection noticed there nor found anywhere else in the options (could fail to found but was trying several times).
Thunderbird 52.7.0 (32 bity) on Win-7 x64 platform.
