I went to a website today and found out javascript was not working in my firefox. I reinstalled the latest Javascript - since Java wasn't showing up under plugins in Quantum. - didn't fix Installed addon to turn Javascript on and off - just to see. that didn't work. Tried IE - javascript works. Verified in Config for Firefox that Javascript is enabled. Rebooted (yes - I tried that).

I verified Java wasn't working by going to websites that verify is java is working. They all say no when running Firefox Quantum.

I'm ready to switch to Chrome. None of my fav addon work. Too many things just do not work in new Quantum.

Firefox Releases ever since Firefox 52 and later has only allowed one Plugin to run and that is Flash Player from Adobe. Other NPAPI Plugins like Java, Silvverlight and others will not. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/npapi-plugins

Note the JavaScript that is a part of Firefox and the Java Plugin from Oracle are two separate things as JavaScript was originally going by name of LiveScript early on. JavaScript does not need Java to work. Oracle has depreciated the NPAPI Java Plugin as of Java 9. http://kb.mozillazine.org/JavaScript_is_not_Java

In you More System Details I noticed your useragent is blank.

Perhaps your useragent has been modified as to why you are having some issues on some websites. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-reset-default-user-agent-firefox
