Inbox tab does not appear, nor do any of the other folders! Help fix

Thunderbird email was working normally until a week ago. Now, Inbox tab appears, but only the Accounts with options View setting..., Create a new account, etc., Create a new Calendar, and then Advance Features appears.

The account name with Inbox, Junk, Sent, etc, does not. The "File Edit View..." bar appears as does the "Get Messages Write (it works) Chat Address Book (it is there)" bar work. "Tag Quick Filter" do not. I can find search for messages okay. Just the normal screen with folders and message content is GONE. I installed Thunderbird 52.5.2, but this didn't eliminate the problem.

Please provide a screenshot. Then we can see exactly what you have to deal with. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Choose file... button below the Post a reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.

I tried saving the screen shot as a Word document and also a pdf file, but it errors out when I try to upload the file. Surprise! I opened Thunderbird, and navigated around a bit, and suddenly got a window that said wait a while as messages are being downloaded. Shortly after that, the user name inbox appeared. with the Welcome to Thunderbird message. So, it appears to be fixed.

Just for the future. Word and PDF files are not image file formats. Try pasting your image into Windows paint and saving it from there.
