I've just read the website Inside Mozilla: Firefox fights Back and checked what version I have... Both mozilla firefox56.0.1 and 57.0.2 are shown and both are 64 bit. Can i safely delete the 56.0.1?

Also, I've used FF for many years with no problems, but since Microsoft replaced their vers. 8.1 with Windows 10 I now get the "Aw Snap" Chrome page every time I boot up. I don't even have the Chrome software on this computer. I click the Aw Snap page to close then click the Firefox icon in my taskbar to load it. But I haven't been able to find out how to get rid of Aw Snap, because I can't find the url for the Firefox Start page to put in my options/settings.

Hope you can help me. Thanks, Beejay88

No, they are hooked together.

uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.2 with a Full Version Installer
