Phonetic / IPA symbols shown as blank boxes in version 57
In some Flash platforms, if I copy phonetic symbols like in /ˈhʌn.i/ or /ˈæd.vɝːb/, only empty boxes will be shown instead of IPA symbols. They are shown correctly if I copy them in google.com or in search bar, but they are shown blank boxes, not only to me but to other viewers, too. I've tried everything in windows and nothing helps. It was fine in previous version - 56. In Linux, I don't have the same problem.
Any suggestion?
I depend on those symbols for my students and that made me switch to Chrome which is awful... :(

Please, have a look at image
If locally installed fonts aren't working then this is possibly a sandbox security issue.
You can set this pref to 2 or 1 on the about:config page to lower the sandbox security setting.
- security.sandbox.content.level = 1
- close and restart Firefox to make the change effective.
If '1' still doesn't have effect then try '0' to disable the sandbox.
If this didn't work then undo/reverse the change and reset the pref via the right-click context menu to the default value.
Thank you for your advice, but sadly, that didn't fix the problem. :( Do you have anymore questions? I've tried googling this A LOT, but it seems last time someone had similar problems was 10 years ago...
Do these glyphs show on this page?
If you see these boxes then either you do not have a font or Firefox isn't able to access and use this font.
You can try to install the DejaVu font.
Everything is shown correctly on that page. Non-flash content is shown without issue, only problem is in Flash content. No one seems to have same issue and on my brother's PC there isn't such problem. I've tried reinstalling fonts (as DejaVu was already installed in Windows 10) but it didn't help. I didn't mentioned it specifically, but I tried reinstalling browser multiple times, refreshing it, cleaning cache and any traces of browser. Looks like Flash player for some reason can't access fonts? Only thing I didn't do was OS reinstall which was done few weeks ago.
Can I provide you with any info, logs or something like that which could help you?
Firefox may run Flash in a sandbox environment that doesn't allow access to the directory where this font is installed.
You can do a font test.
Up and running, it shows 275 fonts available.
Okay, I have reinstalled OS, again, Windows 10 Home x64 and again same issue.
