I have just been prompted to update flash player. In doing so, I accidentally installed Opera web browser as my default browser. I've been using Firefox for years, so I unistalled Opera and tried to go back to Firefox. But now I can't view any pages without making them a security exception - including google and mozilla itself. In fact these last two I cant view at all as they are permanently blocked due to being insecure! I am in firefox now but I have no images, just hyperlinks down the side of one page. I can also no longer click on weblinks in emails and have them open - it says "the operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer". What's going on?? I'm going to have to go onto chrome, but firefox has all my history, saved passwords, etc...

Must be a glitch when over looked the untick option to no or install Opera.

Please consider turning in from within Firefox the option to send info to Mozilla next time you have a question. The info sent helps us identify issues. As well tells us a little of your system. Right now have nothing, not even your OS or what version of Firefox you are talking about.

So have to guess.

If on Windows and Firefox 57+ Please Uninstall Firefox. Delete Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.2 with a Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ Note: your Profile has been saved.

If on Windows 10 please make sure it is the default browser.

If running any firewall's please go into those Firewall programs and delete any entry for Firefox. Then put Firefox back in in Exempt or Program Control or where ever it goes in the program you are running.

Please restart.

If this was inaccurate information provided then sorry as I stated I have no information
