How do I open a "download" without saving it to my computer? The only option I see is to save it. I just want to open. For instance craigslist ads!

It has recently become an issue that when I open something in a website it is automatically being saved to my computer. For instance when browsing on craigslist every single ad I click on has been saved to my computer. Another example is now when I receive an email with an attachment that I want to print it is automatically being downloaded to print it. I do not want all this crap on my computer nor do I have the time to go in and maually delete all this stuff daily.

Have you looked at your preferences? If you open your Firefox preferences, click on the General tab, and scroll down to Applications, you can tell Firefox how to behave when you click on links that lead to various file types.
