YouTube runs slowly.

It happened after the 57 update. Now the videos always get stuck for ~8 seconds and then run smoothly for about a second. Before I could run videos at 1080p without any performance problems, but now I have to use 480p and it freezes much rarely, but still does. Can I speed it (Firefox or Yourube, I'm not sure which makes the trouble, but it's maybe Youtube, because the other sites are still fast) up, and how?

Have you tried Restoring Old Youtube? Click on the menu, and click on Restore Classic Youtube.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

I just tried and runned 720p - it's a little bit better, but it's still frost for about 60% of the time. Before the new YouTube has't gotten me into trouble like this.

It looks like I have custom graphics card drivers installed, so I can't install updates.

go to settings then general, then look for performance. Deselect the run better when possible, and the use recomended settings. If that dosen't work then install this addon in the addon store: h264ify in the addons store.

Okay, I couldn,t find the performance settings, but it looks like it self-fixed. Anyways, thanks to everyone who spent, their time!
