My Firefox home page ("http://my.xfinity.com/" preference has not changed but it immediately takes me to “https://customer.xfinity.com/#/?CMP=ILC_signin_myxfini
Using 2011 iMac OS version 10.13.1 and Firefox 56.0.2: Something changed approximately 3 weeks ago. Instead of Firefox just taking me to xFinity home/log in page, now it takes me to that page then redirects to "my Account" page where I have to log in again. My Firefox home page ("http://my.xfinity.com/" preference has not changed but it immediately takes me to “https://customer.xfinity.com/#/?CMP=ILC_signin_myxfinity_”; can you tell me why that happens how to make it stop?

So have you tried this on other browsers ?
Redirects in Seamonkey, Microsoft Edge & Internet Explorer and in Firefox Developer Edition.
This is not a Mozilla issue. Please mark this as solved due to Comcast/xFinity redirect.

That happens because I just went to http://my.xfinity.com/ and it redirects to the new address because that is what your provider wants it to do. So there is nothing you can do about it.
This is the sitemap found at page bottom : https://www.xfinity.com/site-map Is there a better page you want to go to there ?
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Better page: Yes, I want to go to "my.xfinity.com" and stay there without being automatically redirected to the "My Account" page. I would not be surprised if Comcast wants to auto-redirect to theat page so you pay your bill or upgrade before anything else.
Solved? No, of course not; we're talking about Comcast/xFinity. I spoke to Comcast twice yesterday and they said Firefox was the problem. Its' no big deal, really. Just one extra step to get where I want to go. Thanks.
